about us

Hope Chapel's Food Care Program is a not-for-profit, self funded, and volunteer operated program. It's aim is to care for the community by providing access to greatly discounted grocery items that include but are not limited to, fruit and vegetable, frozen, canned, meat, confectionary, snacks and long-life items. This is possible thanks to our donors and volunteers.

customer experience

Our general customer experience is as follows. Customers arrive between 9:30am-12:00pm. All customers usually wait in front of unit 1/55 roller door, and are greeted by volunteers as they request items they would like. Cars are welcome to park in front of roller door for drive-thru service. Bags of vegetables and fruit are given for free at request (vegetable and fruit options vary per month). Plastic bags are provided. At request for a bag of other items, customer exchanges $5 for each bag filled with requested items. After transaction is made customers leave.
